174. “The Sweet Smell of Christmas” by Patricia Scarry

One morning Little Bear woke up and with just a few sniffs his nose told him that something wonderful was going to happen. But what was that smell? Was it the apple pie that Little Bear’s mom was baking for Christmas? Or the pine tree that Little Bear with Dad brought home for the Christmas tree? Or maybe the candy canes with which the Bears decorated the tree? Or gingerbread boys that Little Bear baked with Mommy, or hot chocolate. Or maybe a round shiny orange that Little Bear found in his stocking? Why don’t you let the children find out as they follow Little Bear around the house. Let them smell the Bear-y Christmas in this cute and warm, scratch and sniff Golden Book, brightly illustrated by J. P. Miller. A perfect Christmas gift and read!
